Prerequisites

To be successful in this course, learner should be able to:

  •  Identify impacted tooth positions, alveolar bone levels, and TMJ morphology on panoramic, periapical, and CBCT radiographs.
  • Describe normal soft tissue anatomy, including attached gingiva width, mucogingival junction, and labial/lingual frenum attachments.
  • Classify severe skeletal Class I, II, and III malocclusions and craniofacial anomalies.
