Biology of Tooth Movement explores the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying orthodontic tooth movement. This course examines the major theories of tooth movement and explains how orthodontic forces influence the periodontal ligament, alveolar bone, and surrounding tissues. Learners will develop an understanding of tissue responses to orthodontic forces and the biological processes involved in bone remodeling. The course provides essential knowledge for understanding the biological basis of effective and controlled orthodontic treatment.
