  •  Demonstrate foundational knowledge of dental sciences with emphasis on the etiology, prevalence, and clinical significance of class ii malocclusion.
  • Describe the anatomy, growth, and development of the maxillary and mandibular arches, including normal occlusion, overjet, overbite, and molar and canine relationships, as a foundation for understanding Class II malocclusion.
  • Identify and interpret diagnostic findings used in the assessment of Class II malocclusion, including clinical examination, study models, photographs, panoramic radiographs, and lateral cephalograms, and distinguish between its skeletal and dental components.
  • Describe the principles of Angle’s classification and differentiate Class I from Class II malocclusion, including Class II Division 1 and Division 2, and recognize the key skeletal, dental, soft-tissue, and functional features relevant to diagnosis and treatment planning.
