This course provides a foundational understanding of the human digestive system, focusing on the anatomy and organization of its major organs and supporting structures. Learners will explore the structure and functions of the stomach, liver, and pancreas, along with the arterial blood supply that nourishes the gastrointestinal tract. The course also introduces the peritoneum, including the mesentery, greater and lesser omentum, and peritoneal cavity, to explain their anatomical relationships and clinical significance. By the end of the course, learners will have a clear understanding of the essential anatomical concepts that form the basis for studying digestive physiology and related clinical conditions.
